Paul Lewandowski, Principal, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP

Paul has over twenty-five years of professional experience as an architect and interior designer. His skill and
passion for design has led to successful projects in the academic, commercial, healthcare, and workplace markets.

Paul joined SSA in 2018 and most recently worked on a 120,000 sf office expansion project for an international bio-
tech company in Maine and a series of medical facilities in central Massachusetts.

He is past president of IIDA New England and is licensed in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and New York.
He has served as juror for AIA design awards, Best of Neocon, and other design competitions. He leads the
entrepreneurial task force as Museum L-A and has spoken nationally on design theory, workplace, creativity and
trends. In addition to design work in architecture and interiors, Paul has designed textiles, carpeting and fashion.

He lives in Portland’s West End with his wife, daughter and several pets. Paul is an avid rower with Portland
Community Rowing Association – providing all the power he can muster from the middle of the boat!
