Scott Simons recently spoke on a panel discussing the architectural history and importance of the Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor. He was joined by Earl G. Shettleworth, Jr., former state Historian and director of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission, Pamela Hawkes of Scattergood Design and the talk was moderated by Sarge Gardiner, partner at Robert A.M. Stern Architects. The group recounted the history and significance of the library as well as looking to it’s future with the future expansion designed by Simons Architects.
