In collaboration with AIA Vermont, SA composed a presentation at the Brattleboro Music Center. Austin Smith of Simons Architects and Jonah Sacks from Acentech Acoustics provided a brief history of the BMC and its facilities. Emphasis was placed upon the configurations, proportions, and finishes for specific types of musical performances; in the case of BMC, the acoustic needs of classical chamber music.

Jonah Sacks, the acoustic consultant, covered the fundamentals of how certain sounds move through spaces and how to shape those spaces for sound and a 15-minute musical performance demonstrated the principles presented. The architects concluded by conducting tours of the full facility and support spaces for both the music school and recital spaces.
