Julia Tate and Ryan Kanteres of SA recently presented at ABX2019 in Boston’s Seaport.

Ryan presented with Chris Williams from Thornton Tomasetti on “Framing Change- A Mass Timber Office Building”. The presentation features the Patrons Oxford Insurance Building in Portland and how the design explored innovative solutions to reduce carbon footprint and tie into the client’s roots in the timber and agricultural economy in Maine.

Julia Presented on the Wayneflete Lower School with Chris Briley of Briburn Architecture in “Getting Schooled in Passive House” focusing on the challenges and rewards of designing a Passive House certified academic building.
